Prof. Leonid Fridman UNAM (Mexico) visited the University of Agder (UiA) and made a guest lecture “Sliding Mode Controllers: stages of evolution” for PhDs and academic staff from the Department of Engineering at UiA. Researchers from UiA and UNAM recently published a joint paper at VSS2018 conference and are working on further sliding-mode based approaches for observation and identification in the hydraulic mechatronic systems.
